Yesterday I bought some new headphones for my iPod - these cool little Sennheisers that have really clear bass and block out the horrible outside world.
Anyway, they came with three sizes of little silicone pads to ensure the right fit. I'd lost the smallest size when I opened the packet last night, but I just found them earlier, fitted them, and that track was the first thing I listened to.
OMFG
Cos, like, it starts off sounding like something from the '60s, with a little bit of that cool John Barry/James Bond vibe, but then, from out of the blues, WTF, it's a Beach Boys-y vocal harmony breakdown, the likes of which we were not to hear again until the late '90s boyband revival. And then, just in case the listener hasn't finished being in a state of jaw-dropping WTFness, then it goes all psychedelic and - I'm not 100% if this is real or just an aural effect - a wormhole opened up and I briefly travelled back in time to a 1968 be-in.
OMFG OMFG
That got more than two sentences out of me.
